Clik here to view.Brooklyn residents are still feeling the transportation effects of Hurricane Sandy. With suspended subway line services, long lines for busses and commutes three times the length they used to be, the question on everyone’s mind is when the trains will be back up and running. As your source of local Brooklyn news, we have provided a quick rundown of what to expect.
As of late Sunday night, the MTA has made the following announcements:
1 Trains: Limited 1 trains are running from 242nd street to 14th street.
2 Trains: Limited 2 trains are running from 241st street (Bronx) to Flatbush Avenue (Brooklyn).
3 Trains: Limited 3 trains are running from 148th street (Harlem) to New Lots Ave (Brooklyn).
4, 5, 6 Trains: Full service has resumed.
D Trains: Limited service has resumed from 205th street (Bronx) to Bay Parkway (Brooklyn).
J Train: Is crossing the Williamsburg Bridge again and is making all local stops between Jamaica Center and Essex Street.
M Train: Limited M Train service is now running between Jamaica Center-Parsons/Archer Station (Queens) and Metropolitan Ave (Brooklyn). M trains are running along the F line between 71st Ave/Forest Hills Station (Queens) and 34th Street (Manhattan).
Q Train: Restored between Kings Highway (Brooklyn) and Astoria-Ditmars Blvd (Queens).
L Train: Station is badly flooded and service will continue to be suspended for a while.
B, C, G Lines: No Service.
