No, this is not designed to further the misguided (and slightly closed minded) belief that one needs an actual passport to travel to the outer boroughs. That is, simply, not true. Any Brooklyn-ite knows this, as does anyone who’s ever ventured out to our neck of the river. This is the best piece of local Brooklyn news I’ve received all week!
That said, Yelp (the ever helpful event planner and menu director) has organized an incredibly exciting two days of Brooklyn exploration – focusing exclusively on the amazingly cool ‘hood of Prospect Heights. On Monday, October 22nd and Sunday, October 28, over twenty local businesses have signed up to participate in these days of exploration, special events, food and drink. This is an incredible way to meet new people, discover a new neighborhood, connect with new businesses and form lasting connections all over.
Best yet, all of the participating businesses are locally owned and operated – so you’re supporting local Brooklyn commerce while having a blast! Check out the yelp page for complete details and read on for a brief list of some of the businesses participating in this event.
